๐ถ Just over 48 hours, severe dehydration, Covid-19 NEGATIVE results, eight blood draws from my feet, six bags of fluids, four I.V.’ pokes, three up the schnoz tests, two iPad doctor visits, one ride home from my sweetie, and a partridge in a pear tree!!! ๐ถ
I have been extremely careful to keep my lungs healthy and with the surge of pandemic positive cases, I was terrified to have to go to the E.R. with the chance I was going to be admitted.
I hadn’t been feeling well for a couple of days, was eating and drinking very little, had joint pain, a temperature, was terribly weak, nauseous, and felt down right crummy! I became severely dehydrated, my doctor told me I reached a point where I could not catch up on my own and I made the right choice to come in. I was not on a good path.
Tuesday I ended up in the emergency room. After two nights in the hospital, I’m happy to say, I had a relatively quick turn around, I came home last night around 5pm! I’m still a bit tired but definitely hydrated and hungry, all the good things!
I have to say thank you to the E.R. department and the nurses, doctors, aides, and everyone that took care of me on the Covid-19 floor, 5A, at the University of Minnesota Hospital! Not only did I receive excellent care but I was comforted with all the precautionary protection measures that were in place. I had complete confidence I was safe.
Yesterday, I woke up to a beautiful sunrise then watched a snow storm fly by. While we don’t know what started all this, I am glad to be enjoying the view from home now. I also appreciate the uplifting messages and prayers sent. Thank you everyone!! Stay safe, stay healthy๐

So happy about your recovery!!!
