He’s Home

It was 9 weeks and 4 days since I’ve had any human contact, not that I was counting😉

I’m going to rip off the bandaid with the bad news 1st, Travis is no longer employed which means he’s not in and out of hospitals at the moment.

Now for the GREAT news, on September 28th, Travis moved back home with me! He was quarantined to the basement, separate bedroom and bathroom and we kept our distance from each other but it was wonderful just having him in the house again. He developed a slight cough and bit of a sore throat and we were hoping it was allergies but with his continuing effort to keep me healthy, he was tested for Covid-19 on 10/14.

We were waiting anxiously for his results so we could be reunited. His test was negative and Saturday, 10/17, almost three weeks since he had been back home, he walked in the house and I received a (((HUGE HUG))) My emotions got the best of me as I started crying. I’ve missed him so much and to be embraced in his arms again was a dream come true❤️

Sunday breakfasts together and so much more have resumed! I love my candied pecan pancakes, eggs, and maple bacon. Honey was excited and happy to sit pretty to have her little pupcakes too!
