My dad had another heart procedure today. There was some success. The cardiologist was surprised his main artery (the one that needs to be fixed the most) had not healed enough for him to perform the roto-rooter style process that was scheduled for this morning. The good news is, the doctor was able to place four stents in the other two arteries that were also blocked.

The doctor believes this is going to give my dad some relief. The main artery needs extra time to heal so there will be a three month waiting period until they can discuss when the next surgery will be.

It was not necessarily the outcome we were expecting today, but we are very excited the doctor was able to help him. It’s a start in the right direction! Thank you for all the good thoughts and prayers. They make a difference.
