This last Saturday we attended our friends, Rob & Erin's, wedding. On the way home, we couldn't help but stop in Darwin, Minnesota to see the largest ball of twine built by one man.
With all the rain we have had lately, we went to Minnehaha Falls to see the roaring water. While I was on oxygen, we would never go there because of all the stairs. if anyone wants to know, there are 109 of them. Now, we were able to see it all and even hike down to bridge 5 where the creek meets up with the mighty Mississippi River.
Tomorrow is my surgery. I need to check in at the hospital at 7:45am but surgery is scheduled for 9:45am. I believe it will last about three hours. I will have Travis post an update.
You are getting these mighty annoyances taken care of, one by one. Your recuperation will be much faster, next to a lovely body of water. No worries about this, you have been through the biggest of the big. Just get really good pain meds!

I have to agree, the recuperation is a little easier looking out the window!
