Donate Life Symposium

I was honored to be asked to speak at the Donate Life Symposium from LifeSource which was held in December.  Since I had received my transplant and was taking many immunosuppressants, my doctors advised me not to attend the event. We did however film a message at our house. And, Travis was sweet enough to attend, speak on my behalf, and give his own speech. I know, he is so amazing :).     This has to be one of the most heartfelt and moving videos that I have ever had the pleasure of watching, it was done from the heart by both. I shed tears, I got the goosebumps and I am going to say, I love the both of you so very much and may God bless the Donor family.

    Both of you are Absolutely AMAZING!! Ever since I got my drivers license 24 yrs ago, I have been a donor. You can count on me educating my kids on the significance of being a donor. Love to you both.

    Nikki & Travis, you are such wonderful presenters!! No notes, you speak directly from your hearts. I can’t tell you how much your story has inspired me! You have such an incredible marriage while carrying a very difficult load. Your combined attitudes are just what this world needs to keep hope alive for all of us.

    That’s so awesome! I know my girlfriend Rhonda was moved when you spoke for Hill Rom. You’re level of appreciation for donation and giving back is inspiring. Love you guys!
