I forgot how much fun winter can be. I’m loving it! For the last 7 years or so I wasn’t able to be outside for very long in the winter. Before when it was cold out, let’s face it, anything below 40 degrees, I couldn’t breathe outside. Now, with my new lungs its unbelievable what I have been able to do and how much fun I’m having. To start, I shoveled the deck, stairs, and walkway. I know it may not sound “fun” to some of you but I had a blast and its something I think Travis could get used to ME doing. Then I have never had the strength or lung power to use the snow blower but Travis let me take the reigns for a few swipes (loved using that machine), we made snow angels in the middle of the lake and to top it off, I actually JOGGED on the treadmill. And, I did it all without trouble breathing!!! We kept marveling that even though the temperature was 1 below zero, I wasn’t struggling with a cough attack.

I love it! Those little things others (like myself) take for granted. I always hope Tim is home to take care of the shoveling and snow blower tasks. I think I will do it this week in honor of your lungs! Beautiful snow angels for two angels in my life! Love you both!

I am so happy for you! I love that you enjoy being outside in the cold with no cough attacks and wanting to do your very own snow plowing! We have offered to come over and help Jamie out as Chris is out of town and there she is just like you wanting to do it all by herself. The two of you are such an inspiration and to see you enjoying life to it’s fullest makes every mom so proud and puts a great big smile on my face! Loved the snow angels!

You and Travis are completely inspiring! Leave it to you to think of fun ways to enjoy your new freedom! Last time I talked with Kathy, she was taking Tej & Kai out to build a snowman. You’ll have to try that with Travis too. Does Rosie go out with you? Just got back from spending a couple of days in Chicago. Got lots of fresh air and exercise checking out the stores on Michigan Avenue. It was so cold we’d go in a store ’til we got warmed up & walk ’til we were frozen again. Then back into another store. Lots of fun though! Glad to hear you’re doing so well!!!
