I was very frustrated when my less then six month old computer had a damaged hard drive. After sending it back to the manufacture to be repaired, I finally received it back a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to give an update sooner but haven’t had the energy.
Let me fill you in on my health. I am no longer taking prednisone. I am very happy about that due to all the side effects. Although, I have missed the free energy train I was on while taking the medication. I did slow down a little bit once I finally weaned off it completely.
I started to get some stomach aches after I would eat. After a few days of having some discomfort I figured I had better get it checked out. I had called my doctor and left a message on Sunday, October 21st so they would return my call the following day. When the nurse called me back the next morning, I sounded awful! I woke up with a terrible head cold. I was seen in the clinic on that Monday for some tests. Turns out, I have an ulcer. Most likely from the predinsone….side effects, ugh. The ulcer seems to be better but I have had a difficult time with this pesky head cold.

Twelve days later, I am still feeling crummy. I am congested and very fatigued.Ā I am doing everything in my power to avoid being admitted into the hospital. I have been doing extra treatments, napping a lot, and forcing myself to still get on the treadmill daily. My head is starting to feel a little bit better although I still wake up stuffy. I have to concentrate on clearing the junk in my lungs.

Yes, lets say some get rid of the krud prayers. I miss speaking with you my friend and the instructors are always worried when they dont see Nikki with me. Yep get better so you can be admited for the right reason!
