Lori’s Benefit

Sunday I volunteered for a couple of hours at a benefit for a gal named Lori. Lori received a double lung transplant in January. They needed a few people to sit at a table to answer questions about organ donation. It was a great turnout. They had all sorts of fun activities for kids including an exotic petting zoo. I got the chance to hold an eight foot albino burmese python. Good thing he liked me!

There is NO way you would catch with within 20 feet of that thing! YIKES! (I have to admit it is pretty though!) DId you see NY Med last night? It showed a 26 yearold girl (CF) who got a double lung transplant. I know your lungs are right around the corner! Hang in there!
