After my regular check up with my doctor last Thursday, we decided to head up north to Lake Vermilion for the fishing opener and spend Mother’s Day with Trav’s mom. The weather was great, the only problem was the fish weren’t biting much! Although between five of us fishing, we did catch enough to eat lunch. I only caught one little perch, but as you can see Travis was the big winner with a 3 1/2 lb bass. We had a nice time, it was relaxing sitting by the lake but I was pretty exhausted coming home.
