I have been waiting for the perfect pair of lungs for….1000 days. I feel blessed. Many transplant patients don’t wait or can’t wait as long as I have. When I went active on the list, I never dreamed I would wait this long. Back in June of 2010, my lung functions were about as low as they had ever been. I was convinced there was no way I would see 1000 more sunrises without the gift of a new set of lungs. Unfortunately, my lungs are much  worse now. But, with increased treatments and a little luck, I’m still here….waiting for “the call”.

I received a postcard today notifying me of the air date for my Judge Judy case. It will be aired on Tuesday, February 26th at 4:00 or 4:30 PM CST. Check your local listings for time and station.
