As the holiday season approaches, we would like to make you aware of the Cystic Fibrosis Gala on Saturday, November 19th.
Those that have attended in the past, know that this is a spectacular event. The goal this year is to raise over $850,000. To witness an event like this is magical. Travis and I will be attending along with over 700 people. There are still about 100 tickets still available. I may be blessed with the gift of life and my new beautiful lungs, but the rest of my body still has CF. Vital funding is needed to help find a cure for me and the 30,000 American’s that suffer from this horrible disease. Still to this day, only 50% of kids will live to be an adult at the age of eighteen. I have been fortunate to stay alive long enough where a double lung transplant helps me breathe with ease, but I still have CF and fear of what the future holds for me.
I understand it is a large commitment to attend the Gala, if you are not able to attend with Travis and I, would you please consider giving a donation? I believe it is important for you to know, ninety cents of every dollar raised goes towards actual research to find a cure and make “CF” stand for “Cure Found”.
